Sure-Lag

Aerosmith® Sure-Lags can be used to anchor into a variety of base materials such as concrete, brick and grout filled block. Although best suited for light to medium duty fastening, they can also be used in heavy duty fastening. Sure-Lag Anchors are available in 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” diameters, and are available in both short and long versions. The short version is typically used on harder base materials while the longer Sure-Lag are typically used on softer base materials where more embedment is required. Sure-Lags are made from zinc which enables them to be used in many different environmental conditions. To set, drill the proper size hole, tap Sure-Lag into the base material, put fixture in place and thread machine bolt into the Sure-Lag until tight. The fixture is removable because the Sure-Lag anchor remains in the hole and only the lag screw can be unscrewed and removed. Not recommended for overhead applications.
